Yes it’s on again.
Each year at Donald High School we read the six shortlisted books and vote on the one we most like. It all culminates at a luncheon in August to celebrate BOOK WEEK.
If you would like to read the most popular Australian books as voted by the Children’s Book Council of Australia judges let Mrs Russell know and start reading.

In 2014 the most popular titles as voted by DHS in the Younger readers section were “Song of a Scarlet Runner” by Julie Hunt and “City of Orphans: A very unusual pursuit” by Catherine Jinks.
In the older readers section they were ” The sky so heavy” by Claire Zorn and “Life in outer space” by Melissa Keil.
The Students of DHS voted “Friday Brown” by Vikki Wakefield and the “Shiny Guys by Doug McLeod as their favorite novels from the Older Readers Titles in 2013.
